Julie is THE chief geek!
Having worked in telecoms for that long it might as well have been two baked bean cans and a bit of string when she started!
Julie started the company in 2002 working as sole trader, contracting to other telecoms companies. She is now responsible for all the design, programming and installation of the larger projects.
Outside of work Julie spends every opportunity at the beach or on the water, paddleboarding. Julie is also heavily involved in the dog agility scene with her two dogs Dougal and Flo, although Neil keeps telling people she ‘goes dogging at weekends’. It's kind of true!
Neil is responsible for all the non-geek stuff like business direction, strategy, profitability as well as overall day to day operations.
Neil’s background is far from IT and telecoms - working with helicopters, packaging companies, and retail shops before joining A2B in 2014.
Whilst Neil does have a wealth of experience in business management and growth, when it comes to I.T. and technical aspects he often says, "I just lick the plugs!".
Outside of work is spent tinkering in his garage or as a keen martial artist and instructor he enjoys kicking people as a form of bonding! We also send him to chase any unpaid invoices!
Steve is our lead Engineer for installations and support calls.
Steve has been working in I.T. since ’95 and brings a vast amount of knowledge about all things technical and ‘gadgety’.
Whilst he is the type of nerd to figure out how much time he physically sat on train when he used to commute to London, he is house trained enough to still be able to communicate with us mere mortals. (It was 566440 minutes by the way!)
When not doing geek things he can be found at many aviation events with a camera in his hand as a published amateur photographer… or kicking up a kitchen storm with BBQ’s or baking cakes.
Bev is responsible for all the ‘dark art magic’ like finance, accounting and all things admin that the I.T. geeks need to be pinned down under threat of "No cake for you" before they complete it.
Bev has an impressive career in office management from small family run companies to international corporations.
When not in origami mode, Bev also trains in martial arts making her a real ninja with the letter openers. She also loves longs walks with her two pooches Cookie and Koda.
Our team of engineers and specialists are the real heroes of A2B, although they didn’t want to be shown separately because they are far too shy.
From our cabling team that spend more time in ceilings and behind walls than electricians, making sure your wires don’t look like a tangled spaghetti. To the I.T. wizards with the ability to troubleshoot just about anything whilst mastering the fine art of telling you to "turn it off and back on again" with a smile.
Outside of work they can be found playing obscure online games, trying to explain 'The cloud' to family members or just discovering that sunlight is a real thing.
The largest of the fur team, nicknamed ‘Arfa Norse’ Dougal is very much part of the entertainment with his own personal vocal rendition of modern day pop songs.
Arfa is fully qualified in snack hunting and sleeping in spots that are very much in the way.
Flo was born to be a cat! Everything is very much on her terms and only comfort will do for this lady. With the ability to sleep in the weirdest of positions that just make her look broken.
Flo is also very adept at stealing any toy that Dougal plays with, hence her job title.
Koda is definitely the oddball of the group. Whilst really wanting attention, his own shadow will probably scare him enough to go and hide in the corner somewhere.
In typical border collie style if you are deemed worthy, expect to have a toy placed at your feet every time you try and step away from the desks.

We like to cuddle our customers, not literally (unless thats your thing), but you'll always get a warm welcome and honest advice.
We don't sell our services for the sake of it, we like to offer the best option for you and your business.
If you fancy popping into the office for a chat about your telecom systems then the first difficult choice will be whether you want tea or coffee, closely followed by which biscuits you want! The kettle is always on and the biscuits always fresh so pop in for a chat at any time.
Somewhat ironically for a telephone company, we hate the sound of the phone ringing. That means that if you phone up to talk about how we can help or if you've got a question about your current system, we'll always answer as quick as we can to stop the sound of the phone ringing.
We much prefer to hear our customers voices than ringtones.
